5 Times Ritmo Mundo Watches Splashed Pop Culture In A Huge Way.
Ritmo Mundo was born in 2002 from a desire of independence and freedom from monotony in the watch industry.
Watch history, art and architecture books were perused. Sketches were made, parts were sourced and crude prototypes were created, tested and evaluated before a factory in Milan, Italy produced the very first Ritmo timepiece in 2002.
Ritmo Mundo was launched at a time before social media, e-commerce and bullshit affiliate marketing and influencers were a thing. Founder Ali Soltani built this brand on hours of global travel, traditional brick and mortar sales and relationships.
18 years later, Ritmo Mondo is a world class operation in Beverly Hills that converges avant garde, hyper-creativity with luxury components. From a dripping "Mad Hatter" inspired design to their trademark spinning piece being a favorite of some of Europe's biggest soccer stars, Ritmo has successfully done it their way.
Here are 5 times Ritmo Mundo was dripping out cuffs in the spotlight.
Ari Gold's Ritmo Mundo Palazzo in HBO's Entourage, 2007
Jeremy Piven's anti-hero Hollywood agent Ari Gold, a main character on the iconic series "Entourage" is perhaps one of the best roles ever created. Ari rocked the Palazzo, a brilliant Milan-inspired classic.
The Ritmo Mundo Davina : Oceans 11-13
So the Brad Pitt character Rusty Ryan was most famous for the Rolex GMT Master II. Cool. When the studio and Director Steven Soderbergh wanted to frame a more "relaxed, party, night out on the town" version of Rusty Ryan in scenes, they chose The Davina. The case style became so popular that the studio wanted more for Oceans 12 & 13.
The Dual Time Persepolis : Fast & The Furious (4 & 9)
Ritmo founder Ali Soltani came up with the orbital case dual time design out at a LA restaurant and sketched it on a napkin. Now it's one of the most recognized watches the world over, and celebrated for it's creativity. Rapper-Actor Ludacris's character, Tej Williams, proudly rocked the piece in several editions of the Fast & Furious franchise.
The 2011 LA Laker Special Edition Persepolis
Purple on one side, glowing gold on the other. Epic. Released to celebrate the rich history of Soltani's favorite NBA team, the Lakers, it instantly became a smash hit with players and fans alike. Magic Johnson raved about it and proudly wore it often.
The 2007 IndyCar Special Edition Watch
Soltani absolutely loves auto racing. In 2007 he partnered with IndyCar and dropped this joint. Dan Wheldon and Marco Andretti were just two of the men who lived life in the fast lane with this wrapped around their wrists.
